Origin of Bosnians

Here is the history with its documents that proves that the origin of the community called Bosniak today is completely Turkish.

“ORIGIN OF THE BOSNIANS . Bahçe. Assoc. Prof. Dr.Aydın BUDAK Boşnian-Başnak: Kaşgarlı Mahmud (1072-1073) in his work called Divan-ı Lugat'it Türk, he says "The Turkish tribe living closest to the Byzantine-Rum country are the Pechenegs". He explains the word "Başnak" as "a man without a helmet on his head and armor on his back".

Byzantine Platonic philosopher-statesman (1018 - 1078) Michael Psellos uses the same term as his contemporary Kaşgarlı Mahmud when he describes the events of 967-1077 in his book called Khronographia (Chronicle) = The Pechenegs who completely took the Balkans under their control and occupied all of Thrace in 1050:

"The Pechenegs do not wear armor and their heads are without helmets. They do not carry shields either. They attack by shouting in battle, they chase and kill the enemy soldiers they repel. They live in deep valleys and precipices. They do not know the fear of death.”

The fact that an eastern people use the same expressions about the Bashnags and a Byzantine historian uses the same expressions about the Pecheneg Turks shows that there is no difference in origin between the Pechenegs and the Bashnags.

The Turkologist N. A. Baskalov analyzes the word Pecheneg, which is called the Russian Family Names of Turkish Origin, as Peçe-on-ok and says that peçe=bey; bey bey; Pecheneg means the bey of the Onoks. When we act with the same logic, it is possible to accept that the Bashnags are one of the Pecheneg tribes and that the Bashnag structures are shortened from baş+on+ok.

In his work called Mürücü'z-Zeheb (Golden Meadows) written in 941, Baghdadli Mesudi records that there are 4 Turkish tribes between the Khazars and the Alans, close to the west, and that the bravest of them is the Bacnak. Of these four tribes left by Mesudi, the Bacgard and Nükerde are Hungarian origin Bacnaks and Becne are Pecheneg tribes.

All these statements leave no doubt that the Bacnaks mentioned in Mesudi are the dispersible Basnaks of Kaskarli.

Today, for some reason and logic that we cannot understand, the idea that the Bosniak-Basnaks were a Balkan tribe that accepted Islam during the Ottoman period is being brought to the forefront. However, the Andalusian El-Bekri, who also lived in the 11th century, says that Islam spread well among the Pechenegs in that century and that Islamic religious scholars even emerged among the Pechenegs.

If we take into consideration that the Kayı Tribe had not yet established the Ottoman State in the 11th century, the claim that the Bosnians accepted Islam during the Ottoman conquests is invalid. The Bosnians who were kidnapped by Serbian oppression in history are a Muslim community, but they are Turks first and foremost.

KUMAN-PECHENEG STATE

Since 1034 AD, the Pecheneg and Cuman Turks, the Rhodopes, Western Thrace and Pirin and Vardar Macedonia regions, and even their descent to the walls of Istanbul, have seriously alarmed Byzantium. For this reason, the Byzantines established a large army organization in 1050 and began to be sent against the Pecheneg and Cuman Turks. However, when the Byzantines suffered a great defeat, the peace and the empire were taxed by the Byzantine state.

During the 30-year period following this treaty, the Rhodopes, Western Thrace and Macedonia could be left to the Cuman Turks, who were subject to the Pecheneg Turks. The Pecheneg Turks, on the other hand, retreated towards Kosovo, Yeni Pazar and Bosnia.

In 1087 AD, the Cuman Turks, together with the Pecheneg Turks, succeeded in establishing the "Kuman-Pecheneg Turkish Federation", which included Bulgaria, Macedonia, Novi Pazar, Kosovo, Bosnia and Albania, with Kumanovo as its capital. However, instead of fighting the Byzantines and non-Turkish elements, these two brother Turkish tribes fought to the death and destroyed the "national unity". For this reason, the "Kuman-Pecheneg Turkish Federation", which was established in 1087, collapsed in 1091, leaving its existence and political function in the darkness of history.  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Memişoğlu”

In order to reveal the true history of the Bosnian people. Bosnians are not a separate community in Europe, they are completely Turkish, not a separate race. Just like the Azeris, Circassians, Lazs.
